Welcome to The works of George Boase

This site is for the works of George Boase. While he is no longer with us, his impact lives on from a number of writings and other medium that he worked on in his life.

Born on September 3rd, 1952, George was always a man of the sea. He was born to George and Francis Boase. He grew up on two great loves, the water and the American cowboy. He loved the serials of Roy Rogers growing up as a young man. This would set his course in the later years of his life.

He wore many hats over the years. He became a dedicated father, an outspoken advocate of the rights and wrongs in the nation, and ultimately, a writer. After his passing on December 15, 2021, his daughter felt the world should hear his views and open them up to an audience who would never hear them. This website is dedicated to the idea that this great man will inspire the world for years to come.

In about April of 2009, George took his love of the sea to the internet. He began to write under the title of the Cruising Sailor. His works told of the sea, boats and yachts, sharing that interest to others.
